This little lady will melt your heart out. So petite and sweet. That newborn smell is intoxicating. I so did not mind spending a long afternoon with her and her great family. The hat box was her mom’s idea. Wow did it work for the camera. “A mother knows best” is what was going through my mind as I was processing these images. Only one of her older brother’s was around for the photo session and he was so funny. I asked him “Do you like Baby O?” he replied ” Ummm No”. Dad quickly let me know this is his standard phrase- he is only 2 years old. It made me laugh out aloud. If only the screen had scratch and sniff , you would be in heaven.

The evening was 90 degrees out. I was a little nervous that we were going to melt. But that was not the case. This beautiful scenery is right behind their home. Lucky ducks. These are two amazing kids. Z would giggling if we mentioned the “F” word. No, not the cuss word, the funny boy “F” word- FART……. And little miss E, those blue eyes would melt any daddy’s heart. Now I have wanted to do just ” mom and dad” pictures for awhile. When you see these two, you are going to know why the kids are so darn cute. This mom is so amazing, inside and out. She is a great friend of mine, and if you know her, you know what a beautiful woman she is. Mr. B is handsome as well. On a side note, he takes amazing landscape photos. Check him out. Landscape photography takes dedication. Getting up at 2am, hiking, waiting for the perfect light. Now that’s why I leave it up to people like him. Amazing work huh…. Any who, my evening was fun.

My job is so awesome. This particular Friday morning I got to go to little city in Colorado and hang out at a fire station. Their dad is a great laid back guy, who just happens to be a lieutenant for the fire house. And these girls mom is relaxed, clam and so pretty. After a quick bite to eat in the park, we continued to hang out and enjoy the great weather. The park that their mom chose had wonderful old trees, that provided great shade in the park.

My morning with these kids was perfect in many ways. We went walking on a local trail with the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background. The kids showed up ready to hunt for BUGS. We walked and talked and found some really cool bugs I have never seen before. I have three boys and I thought I had seen a lot of bugs, well not until you hang with these kids. Miss A is sweet and caring and full of laughter. Mr J is fast and intrigued by all things his sister did. The mom was prepared for everything ( bug hunting capture device, snacks, and drinks). I just have to wonder if the Minos we found and put into a cup survived???? The morning was warm and the sun was shining bright. Perfect way to start a day.

It was such a great way to start my day. She is pregnant with her third little baby. Both her husband and her are so excited. I can certainly say she is glowing with such beauty right now. This little baby’s nursery is so chic. Mrs. B has great taste and an eye for design. I want to thank her for allowing me in her home to capture some amazing photographs of her. She is due in June and I am looking forward to meeting her newest little one.

OMG… Could a little boy be any cuter? Well beside his older brother. I have a thing for red headed boys. It was such a pleasure spending the morning with this family. They are laid back and care free. This is now a family with two boys, so this environment is right up my alley. It was dinosaurs, trucks, and airplanes. Mr G was wide awake in the beginning and than mom had the magic touch to put him to sleep. I hope the parents enjoyed our time together as much as I did.

Miss G is so little and perfect. She was warm and cozy throughout the session. I loved playing with the cute hats. Miss G let me put her in just about any position I wanted. She would snuggle back in her spot and let me take picture after picture of her.
See what I am talking about, she is so darling. I’m not sure I even heard her fuss once while I was in her home. Miss G’s mom was calm and relaxed. That is probably why she is such a calm little lady.

“J” is beautiful in so many ways. It was a pleasure to photograph her in her home. She was relaxed and easy going. Soon her newest member of her family will arrive.
She was graceful and natural while I photographed her. Being with her makes me miss being pregnant myself. I enjoyed all three of mine. This is her third as well. I really enjoyed my time with her. I will be excited to meet her new little lady.
